I thought I would share my favorite makeup items that are all under $15. All of the items I list are drug store. I don’t buy high-end or expensive makeup because well, I have bills, want to eat and need a place to live. I just can’t see spending more than $20 on a makeup item. So I try to find dupes of the high-end items and call it a day. I have nothing against people who do spend the extra money. But here are items that I have found that work for me, under $15.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid -$10.00 I love how this goes on my skin. When I’m wearing this foundation it’s almost like I’m not wearing any. It applies beautiful.
NYX Professional Makeup Matte Liquid Liner– $7.00 This eyeliner does not budge at all. Its amazing. It does not have a felt tip, which im very use to using, but a brush instead. It takes a little getting use to.
ESSENCE Colour Correcting Stick $2.99 Super creamy and easy to blend. I have the green to cancel any redness that I may have. But lately I have been having some really bad break outs and not much is hiding them completely. I still see some redness showing through but not nearly as bad when I don’t use any color correcting.
ESSENCE Coverstick-$2.99 Does the job nicely and covers any imperfections and is also very creamy and blendable. Same as the color correcting, I’m dealing with some really bad break outs but it does help. When my break outs aren’t extremely angry you can’t tell I have them. I’m on the look out for a another concealer for my really bad break outs.
Elf Cosmetics Instant Lift Brow Pencil – $2.00 I have repurchased this brow pencil for the third time now and I always go back to it. I love that it has a spoolie. Makes my brows very natural looking.
Face Candy Milk Shake Palette – $12.00 I just love the eyeshadows shades from this palette. The creams, nudes, browns, corals, and purples are a great combo for spring. There is some fall out but they blend very well. This palette looks like a dupe for the Too Faced Just Peachy Palette.
Elf Cosmetics Mineral Pearls– $8.00 This produt is a bronzer highlighter and blush all in one. Go light when applying. A little goes a long way.
NYX Professional Studio Finishing Powder Translucent Finish-$9.99 Works well and keeps my makeup in place all day. Also doesnt dry out my t zone like other powders have in the past.
Elf Cosmetics Natural Lash Kit-$2.00 These are very natural looking. It took my husband 4 days of wearing them to ask me if I was wearing fake lashes. 4 days. Why, yes dear I am.
Kiss Ever EZ Lash Adhesive, Clear-$3.99 Very easy to apply on the lashes and stays on all day for me. I havent notice smell when opening a bottle.
So I don’t have a mascara listed since all of my mascaras are travel sizes from my Ipsy Bag and I don’t see the need to buy a full size mascara when I’m sent travel sizes. But one of my favorites that I received in a ipsy bag a while back is the Tarte Lifted Sweatproof Mascara in black brown. I will use it to set my brows after I fill them in.
Thanks for reading! What are some of your favorites
Great idea! I’ll try a few of these out!

I love elf products too, and my go to mascara right now is an Essence one:) I keep wanting to try more of their products. You are the second person this week that recommended the tart mascara to me – I will look it up. Love your look, your eyes are amazing.

Thank you! Practice makes perfect. I still have a lot to practice on. Lol I like that mascara. It’s dark enough brown that I can do both my eye lashes and set my eyebrows. Lol

The makeup you are wearing is perfect. We don’t need to buy expensive makeup at the end hey all look the same the brand name is not visible haha! Even though I do sometimes purchase high end makeup just for the hype and feel a little fancy. 🙂 I love Essence, Nyx as well as Elf they have some amazing stuff to try. Great post! 🙂

I totally agree with you. I think the most I have ever spent on any kind of makeup is a $15 foundation. I have a lot of elf products. I have almost all of their matte lip colors. Actually almost all of my lipsticks are elf. I probably have like 6-7 that are not elf. I bought them a few years ago when they had a big sale and got them for like a dollar. I went a little crazy.

I love the Kiss lash glue, but I have never used the other products before! I’m definitely going to look into them, specially the Elf Lashes! You can’t beat the $2 price point! Great post xxx

The lash glue makes it easier to apply with the brush. I agree, I thought they would be good to practice with. Since they are only $2.

They are very natural looking. Like I said it took my husband 4 days of me wearing them for him to say something. Lol. I hope you can find them where you are. 😊
