5 must have iPad accessories

Here is a list of my favorite iPad accessories that I use daily and that I find to be worth mentioning.

2021 iPad 9th gen 256Gb– I recently upgraded to an iPad with more storage. I was using a 2016 iPad pro with 32GB. But even with paying for cloud storage, I didn’t have enough room for all of my artwork and apps. I’m glad I upgraded but I slightly wished I would have gone with the iPad Pro 11 inch screen. The 10.2-inch screen is an upgrade from 9.7inchs but it would be nice sometimes to have that little bit more when drawing. At the time my main concern was storage and price. Overall, I’m very pleased.

Zagg pro keyboard caseThis is a great keyboard and case combo with an apple pencil holder. This case comes in two parts. The first part is a shell case that covers the back of your tablet. The second part of the case is the magnetic keyboard cover that protects the screen and can detach from the iPad if you are just wanting to use the shell case.

Paper-like screen protector– I have used many matte screen protectors in the past but nothing like Paper-like. It is textured like paper but at the same time smooth. It does not distort the screen like some that I have used in the past. I also noticed that I don’t hear that s scratchy noise if I’m scrolling through on my iPad.

Apple Pencil 1 gen– Yes I’m still using my first-generation Apple pencil with the 2021 9th gen iPad. I love using my apple pencil for drawing and in my digital planner. It is a must if you use Art apps like procreate or note-taking apps like good notes.

Silicone apple pencil cover– Thin and comfy enough for drawing or note-taking. It also comes in a variety of colors to choose from. I can also fit in the pencil holder of the Zagg pro case.

December Goals

Here are some are some of my goals for the month of December. November wasn’t that successful for goals that I had in mind so I am hoping that December will be better.

No spend

Well last month for November did not work out, We didn’t really stick to it at all. I’m a bit disappointed by this. So for the month of December, I’m hoping to do better and have a no spend month on unneeded items.

Blogging

I had everything planned out but didn’t stick to it. Why, I don’t know. Life. By the time I get home from work, I’m tired and hungry. I make my dinner, hop in my bed and turn on my heating blanket to watch my YouTube videos. This month I’m going to try to work on blog post while watching my YouTube videos , hopefully this helps me stay on track.

Art

Honestly I haven’t really created much of anything in awhile. I have a few ideas but it’s just a matter of sitting down and starting.

Makeup

I haven’t played around with eyeshadow looks much in November, even though I got the Jacklyn Hill palette and the Boss Mood palette from Morphe. Those puppies are like butter. I think there was only one or two shades that haven’t really impressed me so far.

Daily Journaling

I really should get back into doing my planning/daily journaling, I was doing so well until the last few months I got out of the habit. Lately I’ve been feeling unorganized because of this. So I’m taking this as a sign to start back up.

Shop Update

For 2018 my goals are to added more to my Etsy and offer prints. For awhile now I have been wanting to offer prints to my Etsy but not entirely sure how to go about offering them. After shopping around and trying to find the right source I think I found a few options. I want a place where I could offer multiple sizes for prints and maybe one day other items as well.

So far my options I’m looking at are Zazzle and Printful. With Zazzle they offer so many options it’s unreal. They have the print sizes I’m looking to offer and so much more. They have a small fee that they take like Etsy. Then there is Printful. They link up with your shop like Etsy and fill the orders for that order. They also take a fee for production. I feel like if I do end up with zazzle then I will have to separate my store. Jewelry and crystals on Etsy and prints on zazzle.

So besides offering prints I have been working on some new artwork and cannot wait to show you guys. I have two small series that I have playing around with for a while now and finally put them on paper. Which will in turn be digitized. So fracking excited. I just can’t wait to see how they will turn out when finished.

I am hoping to work on new crystals, Mala bracelets and necklaces. I still have a few diffuser bracelet left over in my Etsy from last year as well as crystals, like selenite and rock salt. As I said before I can’t wait to share what’s coming!

Life update- New Job, Desk space, Books, Etsy Update, Cat

I thought I would share what has been going on in my life. Lots of new things have happen in the last few weeks, I started a new job, got a new desk, bought some new book, Etsy update next week and also have a cat now.

As I write this on my new desk we just bought the other day from my the new job I started. I have been talking how i want a desk for the bedroom. We could not pass it up since it was $49 with 15% off clearance, plus with my 10% discount and in store card we ended up with 30% off in total. Well worth the money. It fits perfect in front of our bedroom window. I love that I can also work on my art or write in the bedroom and listen or watch tv while I work instead of taking over the kitchen table, and my husband can do and watch whatever in the living. The sun was not helping today when I took this picture.

So in august I quite working at the clothing store at the mall and started a new job closer to home and that pays more. I loved working with people at the mall but it just didn’t pay as much. At this new job, I’m basically doing the same thing as I did before, fixing and cleaning up area. I enjoy it a lot, I’m just not a big fan of working the fitting rooms.

I recently went on a book splurge. I have Kindle Unlimited, which I love. So the other day I ended up getting on Kindle Witch by Lisa Lister, Llewelyn’s The 2018 Herbal Almanic, Llewellyn’s 2018 Sabbats Almanac and Llewellyn’s 2018 Witches’ Companion. On paperback I got  1001 spells by Cassandra Eason,  Llewelyn’s 2018 Magical Almanac and Llewellyn’s 2018 Witches’ Datebook.  I super excited to get the date book in the mail. I plan on using it for tracking my tarot reading, dreams and such. IMG_2067.jpg

I also have been working on my Etsy. I have a bunch of Fall/Halloween art work in the works that I will be adding next week on 9/21. I have also started an art series that I just love! I might even have two!

My husband and I are now cat parents to a beautiful brown male tabby cat who is about 6 months to a year old . We have decided to named him Floki. At first we were calling him Lynx but Floki fits him.  He stumbled upon our apartment building and was hanging around for a while. One of the neighbors who has a small dog was feeding him, hoping someone would claim him. Sadly no one did, but someone did try to shut him outside and trap him on the second story awning above the door for the apartment. We rescued him and he followed us to our apartment and he is now ours. I have looked online and asked around  if anyone is missing a cat but no one has claimed him. He is extremely loving, huge cuddle bug and very playful. Also very mischievous but good. Floki likes to take socks and walk around with them and leave them where ever, he also likes to hump any bunched up blankets on the bed. He only does this on the bed, we made a appointment for neutering on October 6.
