Far Cry New Dawn

I have been slightly obsessed with this game since it came out . It takes place sometime after Far Cry 5 in the same town, but different storyline. Overall not a bad game. The husband has already finished it.

Boxy Charm

So I signup for a month to month subscription with boxy charm in late January and received both the January and February boxes around the sometime. Boxy Charm is roughly $21 a month, they have 3, 6, 12 months plans also. So far i have really enjoyed each item that I have received. In the January box I received one of the Tarte Limited Edition Rainforest of the Sea Highlight Which alone is $36.

No Poreblem Primer

This primer is one of the items I received in my February Boxy charm, and I have been using it so much now. I really like how it applies and makes my makeup look.

Medusa piercing

I finally went and got my medusa piercing that I have been wanting for the longest time now and I’m so happy I finally did it! I have to wait until about mid march to be able to change it, I’m counting down the days. The longer bar that I have in, to help with healing and swelling, is so annoying. It catches on the bottom of my teeth sometimes when I’m trying to eat or drink.

Silicon Wedding Rings

We finally went ahead and got some silicone wedding rings. This is something we have talked about before and felt this was better for our lifestyle. Nether one of us has to worry about losing or having something happening to our “nice” wedding rings. I just keep our “nice” rings in a safe place where if we choose to wear them we can.

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation

I have finally found my go to foundation that works so well for me. Blends like a dream and is more on the dewy side. I don’t find the need to powder after applying and is long lasting. I would give a 5 star but I could do without the scent. It’s not bad but not terrible, it does fade over time.

Crystal Water Bottle

My mom bought her self and me one of those water bottles with the crystal that sits at the button of the bottle. It is the coolest thing ever! She picked out the fluorite crystal for me and her birthstone, amethyst.

November Favorites

Here are  some of the things I really enjoyed  and reached for a lot in the month of November.

Pacifica Face Lotion

I picked up 2 lotions by Pacifia one is a overnight Wake Up Beautiful Mask and the other is Kale Luxe Oil-Free Cream. The Kale Luxe, is good for helping  improve appearance of healthy skin texture, tone and brightness. Its also good for acne prone skin.  I apply after doing my nightly face routine, of washing and toning. Then right before bed for  little extra hydration, I apply the Wake Up Beautiful Mask on. Boy, does my face feels so soft when I wake up. I am loving this combo so far for winter. I have also noticed that my foundation doesn’t cling to any dry patches that I might have.

Morphe Eyeshadow Palettes

Both the Jacklyn Hill Palette & 35M Boss Mood Artistry Palette are to die for. The colors are gorgeous and buttery. I have no need for primer when I use ether palette and the staying power is great. I don’t know which one is my favorite out of the two, it would have to be a tie. I almost got the Jacklyn Hill Vault Collection  instead of the Boss Mood Palette, but then I saw the color story of it in the store and decided for the price and how many shadows you get compared to the 4 and it’s almost the same color story. I thought it was a win win.

Always Cold Club Coffee Mug

I finally got my hands on a coffee tumbler by Girrlscout. I just love it! I have a few more of her items that are in her shop. I can’t wait for our trip next month to use my Overnight Shit bag, which goes great with my Face Shit  makeup bag.

 Soph x Revolution Highlighter Palette

I was in the need for a highlighter palette. The Soph x Revolution Palette  gives me 8 different options to pick from. I love the pink and purple highlight the most out of this palette. They add just a little extra something.

Design.Me Quickie Dry Shampoo & Puff  Me Up Light

I really like their Quicke Me Light  Dry Shampoo. I picked up the light one for blondes and pastel hair because I have a light pinkish purple color at the moment. It works really well at soaking up any oil I might have in my hair and makes it look so fresh. Puff Me Up Light  is one of my favorites to use to add volume to my hair. A couple of puffs  in my hair and we have some big hair.

Sally Hansen 7 In 1 Nail Treatment

So I had acrylic nails on for about 3 months (had fills done in that time) and finally it got to the point that they were starting to lift a bit on a few nails. I figured it was time to say goodbye and let my nails breathe. Since then I have been putting the Complete Care 7 in 1 Nail Treatment Sally Hansen. They are looking so much better now, I apply nightly  before bed.

Favorite Makeup Under $15

I thought I would share my favorite makeup items that are all under $15. All of the items I list are drug store. I don’t buy high-end or expensive makeup because well, I have bills, want to eat and need a place to live. I just can’t see spending more than $20 on a makeup item.  So I try to find dupes of the high-end items and call it a day. I have nothing against people who do spend the extra money. But here are items that I have found that work for me, under $15.

Favorite Makeup Under $15
Using all items listed

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid -$10.00 I love how this goes on my skin. When I’m wearing  this foundation it’s almost like I’m not wearing any. It applies beautiful.

NYX Professional Makeup Matte Liquid Liner– $7.00 This eyeliner does not budge at all.  Its amazing. It does not have a felt tip, which im very use to using, but a brush instead. It takes a little getting use to.

ESSENCE Colour Correcting Stick $2.99 Super creamy and easy to blend. I have the green to cancel any redness that I may have. But lately I have been having some really bad break outs and not much is hiding them completely. I still see some redness showing through but not nearly as bad when I don’t use any color correcting.

ESSENCE Coverstick-$2.99 Does the job nicely and covers any imperfections  and is also very creamy and blendable. Same as the color correcting, I’m dealing with some really bad break outs but it does help. When my break outs aren’t extremely  angry you can’t tell I have them.  I’m on the look out for a another concealer for my really bad break outs.

Elf Cosmetics  Instant Lift Brow Pencil – $2.00 I have repurchased this brow pencil for the third time  now and I always go back to it. I love that it has a spoolie. Makes my brows very natural looking.

Face Candy Milk Shake Palette – $12.00 I just love the eyeshadows shades from this palette. The creams, nudes,  browns, corals, and  purples are a great combo for spring. There is some fall out but they blend very well. This palette looks like a dupe for the Too Faced Just Peachy Palette.

Elf Cosmetics Mineral Pearls– $8.00 This produt is a bronzer highlighter and blush all in one. Go light when applying. A little goes a long way.

NYX Professional Studio Finishing Powder Translucent Finish-$9.99 Works well and keeps my makeup in place all day. Also doesnt dry out my t zone like other powders have in the past.

Elf Cosmetics Natural Lash Kit-$2.00 These are very natural looking. It took my husband 4 days of wearing them  to ask me if I was wearing fake lashes. 4 days. Why, yes dear I am.

Kiss Ever EZ Lash Adhesive, Clear-$3.99 Very easy to apply on the lashes and stays on all day for me. I havent notice smell when opening a bottle.

So I don’t have a mascara listed  since all of my mascaras are travel sizes  from my Ipsy Bag and I don’t see the need to buy a full size mascara when I’m sent travel sizes. But one of my favorites that I received in a ipsy bag a while back is the Tarte Lifted Sweatproof Mascara in black brown. I will use it to set my brows after I fill them in.

Thanks for reading! What are some of your favorites

Yes to Miracle Oil Review

Since I have finished up my Nourish Organics Rose hip Face serum, I have been using Yes to Miracle Oil Argon Oil, for the last few months. I had been looking for a new face oil and was having a hard time find one that wasn’t with an outrageous price tag. We happened to be at Burlington Coat Factory, browsing around while waiting for Floki to be done with his neutering appointment. I found it in the beauty aisle and thought why not. Normal price is $11.00 and I bought mine for $6.99. It comes in a 1fl oz solid white bottle with a dropper. So you get a lot for the price. I also have to hide it from Floki because he likes the rubber on the stopper and I found him chewing on it. Silly cat.

Yes to Miracle Oil Review

The description from their website:

“Yes to your glowing-self and brightening your day with Argan Oil! Argan Oil is a natural multi-tasking moisturizer that helps to nourish, brighten and condition skin. Perfect for the face, body and hair, this oil can be used anywhere that needs an extra boost of moisture. This lightweight, non-greasy oil absorbs easily and can be used alone or under makeup or moisturizer.

99% natural.

Formulated without Parabens, SLS and Silicones.

Leaping Bunny Certified”

I have been very pleased with this product. I use 3 drops morning and at night. One on my forehead and one on under each eye. Then I rub it over my face and rub in what ever is left over on my hands. I love how it makes my face and hands feel. You can even use it on your hair, which I have also done when I have a little extra leftover. There is a slight smell to it but I had to put it very close to my nose to even smell it. It also doesn’t leave your skin really oily, it soaks in pretty quickly for me and leaves my skin so soft.

I have also found that it works well when putting on my makeup. Expect,  don’t put it on your eye lids even with eyeshadow primer, your shadow will crease no matter what you do. At least for me it does. The Same goes with eyeliner, the liner won’t stick to your skin, it will rub off. To me a while to figure that one out. So when I do my makeup I just avoid my eyes with the oil altogether.
